Overview

The HX9X4170G18 is an X-band surface-mount four-channel transceiver module in a BGA package. The housing is made of a ceramic substrate, while the frame and cover are made of metal. Thermal resistance is reduced through top and bottom heat dissipation.

The module integrates the following circuit functions: 6-bit digitally controlled transceiver phase shifter, 6-bit receive attenuation, 4-bit transmit attenuation, transmit amplifier, receive low-noise amplifier, receive limiter, power divider, switching circuitry, and serial-to-parallel driver. It operates at frequencies from 8GHz to 12GHz, with a receive gain of 22dB, a noise figure of 2.5dB, a transmit output saturation power of 37dBm, and a transmit power gain of 30dB.

This module is primarily used in microwave transceiver components to amplify, modulate, and phase-modulate signals.
